Mauritius Union General Insurance will indemnify its clients against:
Loss or Damage to the car (including its accessories and spare parts) and this, by any the occurrences described below at any time during the Period of Insurance.
In addition to the Occurrences listed above the additional benefits described below shall also be available.

Passenger Cover (including driver)
All sums including claimant’s costs and expenses, which the Insured shall become legally liable to pay towards third parties:

Loss of Use extended to cover Mechanical or Electrical breakdown for 7 days
(Validity: 24 months as from inception of cover)
Replacement Clause (New for old) - Indemnity up to 110% of Sum Insured
(Validity: 12 months as from inception of cover)
Wind screen extension – No Excess Applicable
(Validity: 36 months as from inception of cover)
Airfreight Expenses
(Limit: Rs.10,000.- Validity: 36 months as from inception of cover)
Loss of Keys
(Limit: Rs.10,000.- Validity: Three years)
Personal Belongings
(Limit Rs.10,000.- Validity: Three years)
Waiver of Excess – First two claims within the first 3 years of cover
Two year agreed value basis in addition to the first year of Cover
Refund of the vehicle’s original registration fees within the first three years of Insurance in case of total loss.
Automatic entry in the Fidelity Bonus Scheme
Two Insurance periods of 12 twelve months each without claims guarantees a 5% discount on the prevailing renewal rate of the 3rd and 4th renewal period.
Total Loss (excluding theft) claim settlement within 2 working days from date all documents received.
Additional benefits, free of charge, applicable to Private Cars (1 Year Old).
